Ingredients

1 small pack of stew meat
1 medium sized onion (grated)
2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon garlic powder
6 large potatoes
10-12 green cured olives (Mediterranean or Greek style)
4 cups of water

Cooking Instructions

Mix all your spices, shredded onion and meat in your pan be sure to mix together well.
Add the water cover the pan and cook on medium heat for an hour then add your green olives and potatoes to the pan.
Cook for an additional 15 minutes or until potatoes are done.

Be sure to serve this Tagine with lightly toasted french bread.
